Mi intención es que escuchando este trabajo (y más todavía viéndolo y escuchándolo al mismo tiempo) uno experimente un “trance” que conlleve necesariamente una suspensión del sentido del tiempo y unas sensaciones muy primordiales. La manera ideal de experimentarlo es viendo el video en una pantalla grande, con dos muros de altavoces a los lados, a volumen alto y la habitación a oscuras. De este modo uno puede sentir con la suficiente intensidad el latido del Sol y vibrar con él, quizás como oíamos y sentíamos los latidos del corazón de nuestra madre antes de nacer. De modo parecido podemos sumergirnos en un momento en el que la vida bulle en el agua de un planeta lejano, como lo hizo en el nuestro hace muchos años. Y precisamente en el momento en que la vida lucha por salir del Mar y conquistar la Tierra. Sol, Mar y Tierra son los objetos de la meditación que propone este trabajo. Y como toda meditación debe ser realizada sin tiempo; con una suspensión del sentido del tiempo. Porque probablemente el tiempo no existe, y pasado, presente y futuro conviven en un solo instante eterno.

My intention is that by listening to this work (and still more watching and listening to it at the same time) one experiences a “trance” that necessarily entails a suspension of the sense of time and very primordial sensations. The ideal way to experience it is by watching the video on a large screen, with two walls of speakers on the sides, at high volume and the room in the dark. In this way one can feel the heartbeat of the Sun and vibrate with it with enough intensity, perhaps as we heard and felt our mother’s heartbeat before birth. In a similar way we can immerse ourselves in a moment in which life strugles in the water of a distant planet, as it did in ours many years ago. And precisely at the moment when life struggles to leave the Sea and conquer the Earth. Sun, Sea and Earth are the objects of meditation proposed by this work. And as all meditation must be done without time; With a suspension of the sense of time. Because time probably does not exist, and past, present and future coexist in a single eternal moment.
Antoni Robert (Barcelona, 1954) studied astrophysics and quantum physics. He holds a PhD by Barcelona UPC. Always interested in experimental music and creativity methodologies such as “lateral thinking”, he had his own record label from 1990 to 2000, releasing more than 35 cd’s. In 2015 he decided to start producing his own sound projects. His work is based on field recordings processing, and synthesyzed electric guitar, and strongly influenced by some dark ambient masters.

Antoni Robert (Barcelona, 1954) estudió astrofísica y física cuántica. Es físico y Doctor por la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. Siempre interesado en la música experimental y en las metodologías de estímulo de la creatividad, como el “pensamiento lateral”, tuvo su propio sello discográfico desde 1990 hasta 2000, publicando más de 35 cd’s. En 2015 decide empezar a producir sus propios proyectos sonoros.
Su trabajo se basa en el procesado de grabaciones de campo, y en la guitarra sintetizada, y está fuertemente influenciado por algunos de los maestros del dark ambient, como Brian Eno y Roedelius.
